Charity Commission – new postal address

We have received the following message from the Charity Commission:

“I am writing to notify you that the Commission’s address for service is changing from 11 August 2015.  It would be much appreciated if you could forward this information on to your members.

From tomorrow, the old PO Box 1227 address will cease to exist and will be replaced by a new PO Box address:

Charity Commission
PO Box 211
Bootle
L20 7YX

Any mail addressed to PO Box 1227 will either be returned to the sender by Royal Mail or, where no return address is available, forwarded to Royal Mail’s secure site to be securely destroyed.

We will continue to accept service of most documents (except bundles) and correspondence by email to Litigationandreview@charitycommission.gsi.gov.uk.”
