On Tuesday 1 December 2015, representatives of the CLA working party on the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Bill and the working party on social investment were pleased to attend an NCVO Briefing Session for MPs on the Bill ahead of the Second Reading. Whilst the CLA working party continues to have serious concerns about certain provisions of the Bill, contrary to a number of press reports, no public statement was made earlier this week.
